Center for Private-Public-Academic Collaboration Research
Our center promotes collaboration with domestic and international research institutes, companies, and local governments. As the sole WHO Collaborating Centre in East Asia focusing on both nutrition and physical activity, we strive to build an international network to promote research and to put it into practice in society. Furthermore, with the aim of creating a sustainable food environment, we promote research with local governments, companies, and academic institutions and strive to give back to society. Meanwhile, we are working to improve malnutrition caused by disasters in Japan, a disaster-prone country, and conduct research to reduce nutritional disparities and reduce health damage, and provide evidence-based logistical support.
